J Long started its business in 1984 by doing 100% exporting orders. With the technical support from Chinese Academy of Science and later cooperation with China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp. (CMC), the company were able to export its products to USA as its beginning. Later on, with customers’ approval to our products, J Long successfully expanded its sales territory to Europe (majorly Germany). Although nowadays J Long’s products have been distributed to over 130 countries around the world, USA and Europe have been maintained as its two major markets.
In 2008, with the global economy crisis, the international market suffered significant decrease in many fields, and the abrasive industry was not an exception. At the same time, China domestic market have had significant development comparing with the 1980s. The company decided to entre the domestic market. Till now the company has established domestic distribution branches covering all 32 provinces of mainland China.
In terms of product brand, J Long’s customers are divided into two categories, one is OEM customer and the other is J Long’s private brand customer. For the latter, you may find more information HERE.
OEM customers are very important to J Long. Among the company’s OEM customers, there are Fortune Global 500 companies, leading brands in its own country and market, and also these already have well established relative business (such as power tools and welding products) and wishing to add abrasive products into their catalogue, etc. Some of these customers have been with J Long for over 20 years and some been over 10. Despite the differences of their company size and operating fields, they all have one thing in common, that they all require medium to high professional level abrasive products with great cost/performance ratio. All of these customers and partners are great treasure to J Long, and have supported J Long to overcome countless difficulties in the past decades and have helped J Long to achieve what it has now.
